Regretting the things that you have done is one of the downfalls in life. It can be compared into a nightmare where it is too late to wake up.

During this time of pandemic, we have faced problems, situations and negativity in our life. The spread of Corona Virus Disease 2019 or CoViD-19 as known by many has brought us into a tragic disaster, it blows us into the phase where it is hard to get up. Filipinos are not the only nationality that was affected by it, but the whole world. Yes, you read it right! The pandemic is affecting the WHOLE WORLD and it might sound exaggerated but it's totally not. It takes years for us to make a vaccine that will help us fight this virus and just like on this case, sadly, we acted pretty late.

The disease was first found around late November and early December of the year 2019. News has been spreading, online information is circulating, and this made a buzz to the world. But still, after all the words that we have read and seen, people take it easily. Parties, outings, get-along, hang-outs, attending concerts and out of the country tours, these are some activities that will bring us to be close to the crowd while we don’t know if someone in there is a carrier of the virus. And from a single country with the virus, this brought us to the unstoppable spread of the disease.

But then the whole world changed in a second when the seen “not so serious” health news was announced to be the cause of pandemic. A disease that has no remedy, it makes the world looks like a catastrophic movie. A real scenario in our life where we are placed in a life or death situation. A disaster that makes the economy a dead one and a catastrophe that dimmed the world of everyone. But then light shines, we catch up to the time where we don’t act and after years of making, we now have the vaccine.

But still we are late, we haven’t prepared and prevent what will happen even if we know it. It is not just a single life that was slashed but millions of lives have ended. Why? Because we do not take it seriously. Everyone! Let us wake up again and start preventing things that we know will happen. This pandemic we are in makes us realize that “PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE”.
